Richard Buchanan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Sociology from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island.  He is also a veteran of the United States Navy, where he proudly served for four years in San Diego, California.

In 2006, Rich obtained his real estate license in Colorado and quickly built a successful real estate business in the Denver market. His interests and skill sets naturally gravitated him towards a specialization in selling luxury properties.

In 2008, Rich moved to Seattle, obtained his Washington broker‘s license, established himself in the real estate community, and quickly become a leading agent with The Kendra Todd Group’s Distinctive Properties division. Throughout his career, Rich has worked with discerning home buyers and sellers on the successful sale of numerous high-end, high-profile properties.

Rich goes above and beyond to ensure his clients are taken care of and feel comfortable throughout the process. He listens to his clients’ needs in order to determine what is most important to them, so to ensure they are satisfied throughout the real estate process.At their core, real estate transactions are about helping manage a client’s desires and their finances. Rich’s negotiating style and approach to  his client’s assets and interests has garnered him respect with both colleagues and clients.
